As the Japanese government advances power system reforms to promote demand response (DR)*, a capacity market for trading demand response resources and other elements will start in 2024, expecting rapid adoption. Greenphard Energy’s proposal, “Greenphard Energy IoT Services,” utilizes AI-powered Intelligent IoT. By connecting to the cooling units of companies’ cold storage facilities and air conditioning cleaning units (coolers and indoor units), it can reduce electricity consumption by 10-30%. In addition, by combining cutting-edge control technology and demand response mechanisms, it is possible to transform power demand facilities into power resources and generate new revenue by providing these resources to the power market. We have already begun collaborations with major real estate developers, hotel chains, and warehouse companies.
